About Brenda O’Bannion
I'm a writer of Christian Historial fictions and a few other genres. I write stories set in the 1900s, weaving in history and faith. I believe in God's grace and mercy and strive to show this through my writing where my characters find reconciliation, and restoration through their faith. My prayer is that my stories will be engaging to my readers and will always honor our Lord.
In 2020, Tranquility Press released my first novel, By and By, I Reckon, a parallel memoir about herself and her grandmother.
MyWonderful West Virginia Series: The Land Before Us, Farrowlee Mountain, and Winding Roads are my first historical fictions.
What's Up Cody? is a children's book about bullying. It grew from my 32 years in education and my life on our farm.
My newest release is Rivers of Dust, a heartwarming story about two families' struggles with homelessness, trials and prejudices during a time when thousands of families were displaced during the Great depression and the Dust Bowl.
